ARTESANALES

Most of our products are handcrafted and come from different parts of the world (Europe, Africa, Asia or South America). We have tableware with our own designs that are created and hand-painted in our workshops.

One of our objectives is to help preserve the Iberian pottery tradition (Spain and Portugal) by creating pieces with unique and timeless designs that will brighten up a table.

We have tableware, glassware, cutlery, table linen and decorative accessories with a casual style, ideal for both everyday tables and for special occasions; and in all types of environments whether in the city, the countryside or on the coast.

We explain to you the manufacturing process of our earthenware products.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Step 1

A clay paste is made and placed in a die where small rolls come out.

They are kneaded and then pressed.

Step 2

The clay is placed in a mold to give it the desired shape and left to dry for a couple of hours.

Step 3

Once the piece is dry, it is removed from the mold and retouched, cleaning and trimming the edges.

It is left to rest and dry for 24 hours and then placed in an oven for 12 hours at 1050 degrees.

Step 4

The piece is painted by hand and once dry, it is enameled to give it more shine.

Step 5

Once enameled, it is placed in the oven for 12 hours for final drying.

Step 6

All pieces are checked for damage and sent to the Faience Warehouse.
