ABOUT US

Over 30 years

Since 1987, creating dining experiences with unique dinnerware, glassware, and accessories. Primarily supporting local and Portuguese craftsmanship.

Hi, my name is Cocó Benlloch, I am a lover of tableware and of entertaining friends and family at home, paying attention to every detail. I inherited this mainly from my mother, although I haven't inherited her gift for cooking! I have 3 children, a wonderful husband who supports me and helps me in this new adventure, and above all, I am very excited to be able to continue the EL ALMACÉN DE LOZA project for many more decades.

Before embarking on this adventure, I worked for 10 years in the marketing department of a multinational company. "An adventure for the brave," they told me when I ventured into the business world. And it's true that you have to seize opportunities, especially when they make your dreams come true and allow you to enjoy what you are passionate about.

El Almacén de Loza was founded in Madrid in 1987 by Mana Briz de Labra. She was a pioneer in bringing the first Portuguese earthenware dinnerware to Spain when customs still existed between the two countries. After more than 30 years of spreading joy and good taste to the tables of all our customers, and after creating the most viral table setting contest on social media, Mana decided in May 2022 to pass on her legacy and... I am the fortunate one to be able to continue it!!

We are a benchmark in the tableware sector. We transform the everyday act of setting the table into an art form, with original and handcrafted products. Because our goal is to enjoy good food and company, in every sense of the word.

OUR PRODUCTS

HANDCRAFTED

Most of our products are handmade and come from different parts of the world (Europe, Africa, Asia, or South America). We have tableware with our own designs that are created and hand-painted in our workshops.

One of our goals is to help preserve the Iberian pottery tradition (Spain and Portugal) by creating pieces with unique and timeless designs that can liven up any table.

04. Pintado a Mano

Momento de creatividad: pintamos cada pieza de forma artesanal y aplicamos el esmalte que dará ese acabado brillante tan característico.
